You test it while it's disconnected, so it wouldn't make a difference either way.

A few hours would be sufficient.

So today I tested the af sensor again. Here’s some pictures. Looks like it’s orignal. It read at 2 ohms this time @Timmah!

My maf had a resistance of 1.35k ohms today. I let it cool off for about 2 hours.

From the ohms resistance you got on the A/F sensor and the MAF sensor, they are both outside the spec. For the A/F sensor, you should have seen a value between .8 to 1.4 ohms and you got a value of 2 which is outside the spec. For the MAF sensor, the range is 2.2k to 2.7k and you got a value of 1.35k which is also outside the spec. You probably should replace both of them.

Should I try and get ahold of an obd2 scanner that reads live data and see what that tells me.

That wouldn't hurt. If you have an Android phone, you could use the phone app Torque Pro and get a bluetooth OBD II reader.

Unfortunately I have an IPhone. I was thinking about just ordering one on Amazon or seeing what harbor freight has.

They have OBD II reader that work with iPhones. Do a search on Amazon. There's one called BlueDriver. It's a little pricey but the reviews are pretty positive. https://amzn.to/30o87eG

I am curious as to how u know which prongs to contact when checking sensor resistance. I checked my MAF sensor and through trial and error I found a reading of 1.33 and I know its bad as it has a code as well but trying to learn what I am looking for. Most combinations got no reading and I got one w a reading in the 20s. Thanks!

Ordered a MAF and it comes in tomorrow. I’ll let you know if the next few days if it fixes it.
