Interesting. Personally Seafoam scares me and I won't use it. I ran it in my I4 Camry with 95K and it started burning oil so bad that it had to be rebuilt, and all I did was dump one can in the tank. I only had the car for 3000 miles, so was it doing it pre-Seafoam? Who knows, I just won't do that again.

I here you. I'm just wondering if the seafoam was the cause or not to my codes and hesitation/sluggish acceleration:confused:

For now my truck is running good, so I'll keep my fingers crossed:eek:

Is this also after you replaced the AFR sensor?

I don't believe seafoam is the immediate culprit. It may have dislodged some gunk and clogged something else but I doubt that it chemically harmed anything. I have used seafoam on several vehicles. One thing I did learn about using it on our 2nd gen tacomas is that you should not use the Brake Booster hose. It dumps all the cleaner into I believe the number 3 cylinder. It's best to use it through the vacuum hose on or directly after the throttle body.

I just got these codes again. Last time was a few months ago while offroading, still not sure why that happened. This time I will scour the truck for vacuum leaks and soak an extra set of O2 sensors in seafoam to try to clean them.
