Hey everyone. I have 2002 tacoma 3.4 L with a hot start issue. it takes about 2 cranks to start up. My truck has 160,000 miles on it. I’ve done a recent tune up with spark plugs, wires, maf sensor, coils, and even new intake and air box. I am leaning towards getting new fuel injectors or either getting a new fuel pump to get rid of the code P0300. Any advice on how to get rid of this promblem is greatly appreciated.

P0300 is a serious issue, your mil should be flashing.

Light came on before or after the tune up?

If you have a weak fuel pump, your truck will be throwing a lean code, not a misfire code.

    1. Check timing mark, might be off
    2. Leak down test
    3. Compression test

Light was on before the tune up but went away after I did the tune up. But came back up again. I am leaning towards fuel pump is going bad or I have leaky injectors.
