Ok guys I have the dreaded P0330 code Knock sensor. I’m finding cheap sensors, knock offs etc for around $30 however from Toyota these are upwards of around $300 each… It’s a lot of work to replace these babies and as bad as I hate to spend $600 for the parts, I’m willing to if it’s necessary.
    What do you guys recommend?
If you’ve replaced your knock sensor , where did you buy?
    Tia

    OEM 100%.
No way I’d do all that work, just to do it over again because of cheap aftermarket parts.

    That’s a LOT of work.

Before I buy sensors, I’d check the wire harness for rodent damage.
You “might” get lucky and make out “easy”.

Why mice and squirrels like to eat those sensors in particular? I don’t know.

Thanks everyone ! I’ve already ordered the wire and will put the sensors on hold as recommended… It is way too much work to do twice.

I agree, Toyota knock sensors rarely fail but wiring is very common to have rodent damage especially on 2nd gens.
Looks like you have a 1st gen, the knock sensors on those aren't near as much of a pain to get at as the 2nd gen 4.0l trucks.

Aftermarket sensors are typically hit or miss, changing one that requires alot of work I definitely would go OE if I could.

I just now noticed he has a 1st Gen.
    I can’t say I ever messed with one on a 1st Gen.
