5VZFE 319K just threw above code

Knock sensor 1 circuit bank 2

Little research on www and seeing a few say they randomly go bad but others talking about replacing.

Looks like the OEM ones are $192 and there are 2

    1) How likely is it that the sensor has gone bad vs wiring harness issue?
    2) I see people talking about testing them but no instructions on how to do that?
Where would I find the procedure for that?
    3) OEM or reputable manufacturer for 1/3 the cost?
    4) Looks like a job to get down to where they are hid so considering changing both sensors and wiring harness for them. What else is down in there that needs consideration since I am that deep into it?

    Thanks for the advice

    4) Those sensors are DOWN there. Depending on where you are in service history- vacuum lines, maybe injectors.. Obviously all new gaskets for anything you separate. There are some vacuums lines attached to the final intake manifold that are only accessible once you have the upper and lower intake manifolds.

Injectors we’re done last year but I will definitely change the vacuum lines

Go with OEM parts. Both sensors, manifold gaskets, plenum gaskets, and wiring harness. Pay attention to the torque spec on the sensors. If they are overtightened, the piezo internals will become deformed and they will not work correctly.
