I found the issue with my truck and turns out it was a bad knock sensor. Replaced but sensors and wiring harness but now ingot code p0333 (knock sensor circuit high bank 2) i dont know if it was a faulty sensor or what could cause the issue, haven't used the truck since it appeared after reassembling it and i already tried to reset it/clear the code but it throws it right back. Any help would be great

here is the diagram. Unplug the connector and test voltage between pin 1 and 2 with ignition On. Should be 4.5-5.5v. If not getting the voltage, trace the wiring to EE1 junction connector. Unplug and test voltage between pin 3 and 4 of EE1 connector. If no voltage there, need to backprob voltage at ECU connector E11 pin 18 and 28.

Since the harness and knock sensor are brand new, how can i check if the sensor is defective or not, and how can i check if it's actually the ecm?

Which harness did you replace? From the sensor to the junction connector or the engine harness?

The harness that connects to both sensors, the one that usually gets eaten by mice, mine seemed to be ok but very brittle. btw im getting the code for bank 2, which i suppose is the driver side am I right?

You are going to have to check the voltage at the Sensor.
You could check it at the EE1 connector. But if the voltage is good, you're going right back to the sensor.
Same could be said for the ECM, it could be checked there as well. I suppose it comes down to which one is easier to get too. Start there.....but it's always the last one you check.

Well, after working like crazy on my truck i finally figured out what is actually going on. Both knock sensors are good, as well as the harness (replaced them all anyways). The actuall issue is the part of where the knock sensor harness connects to the main harness, that plug or connector is the one causing trouble. Now i would appreciate if anyone has the part no. Or what that part of the harness is called. Again, is where the the knock sensor harness connects to

The connector part # is in post 3 above.
But you'll need to depin it and put the pins in the the new connector.

I'm sure you could buy the harness, but I bet it's expensive.
I'd have to find some good diagrams and see if it's listed.

Yes that's the issue, one of the cables broke like when mice chew on the sensors harness.
