P0333 Knock Sensor

    so truck randomly threw this code. Already determined it to be the knock sensor on the drivers side.

    Everything I'm reading points towards rodents chewing the wires to the sensor.

    Toyota refuses to inspect the problem unless I agree to pricing terms for them to replace the sensor not under warranty due to rodents. If the actual sensor is bad and not chewed, then the warranty kicks in and everything is good.

    I'm reaching out to my fellow TW comrades to see if anyone else has run into this problem with the sensor and if there's any special angle I can use to get eyes on the sensor and confirm it myself.
