Original symptoms - Occasional misfire/cough. Truck still had original coils/spark plug wires so replaced them and since at it, new plugs, too. Now tries to start but won't run. Per other threads started checking wires.

The two wires to 1 test fine. However, the Black w/Wht wire on the igniter connector is broken off right at the back connector. My Haynes manual diagram doesn't match the colors in my truck so I don't know if this is the culprit or not.

Where does this wire go? What does it do?

Is there a good online diagram somewhere?

Does anyone sell new harnesses or do I need to go to a junkyard?

    Thanks

The Black/White wire is the timing signal to fire the coil for cyl 3 and cyl 6 so with that wire broken your would have a 2 cylinder misfire.

The part number for the igniter connector is 90980–11653 for the connector and pins without wires, I'm not sure if there is one available as a pigtail with wires maybe @caribe makaira would know.

    Thank you for the help/digrams.

I've never tried to work on a connector. If it comes new as separate parts, is it possible that I could take the existing connector apart and re-attach the wire? In the pic you can see that it broke right at the back; there is enough play that I could "pull" it a little forward into the connector....

If you had a pick n pull nearby I would just say go there and see if you can find an igniter connector or a connector with the same pins, chop it off and use that one pin.
The connectors typically aren't too difficult to de-pin, a pick and a small flat screwdriver is sufficient for most of them but some do require a de-pinning tool.
The Lisle 57780 terminal tool ($10-15) works really well, I have it as part of the 57750 kit at work and I find I use that one the most.

@Dm93 - thank you again for the help and the Connector Disassembly graphic. I picked the full 57750 kit and was able to repair the connection.

So far, the truck is running perfectly.
