I didn't check the CELs before I engaged in the repair project which was a mistake, but now that the frame swap and assoc repairs are complete I have two outstanding trouble codes: P0430 and P0102.

I've run denatured alcohol through three tanks of gas to clean out the cats and that seems to keep the light off, but the code is still generic stored. I've also changed/cleaned my MAF and checked the diagnostics - it appears all categories are reporting readings so it shouldn't be a broken wire. Is it possible these codes are related?

I'm thinking about changing the O2 sensors, but the combination of codes seems odd, especially since changing the MAF didn't clear the P0102...

You could try a hard reset, pull the battery cables and hold them together for a few minutes and see what codes come back. Did you use an OEM MAF sensor? If so, check the wiring and connectors for corrosion or damage. As far as the catalyst efficiency code, you could try new O2 and A/F sensors on Bank 2, if the code comes back, the cat is done. Again, use OEM sensors only.

Yeah, I tried three different MAF sensors. All oem and used, but one I'm certain doesn't throw a code because it came off my mechanics truck with no code. When he put mine in his truck he also didn't get a code. It doesn't seem likely that a bad cat sensors could cause the P0102 code, though a bad MAF could cause the cat code. I feel like I'm chasing my tail here...

Changing the cat sensors is my plan, thought I'd see if anyone had any insight in the relationship between the cat/MAF codes before I started throwing money at the issue.

    Thanks for the input.

Check fuel pressure, look at o2 readings and fuel trim on something like Torque or TIS Techstream. Lots of useful troubleshooting out of those pieces of information.

I had a P0420 code a while back. Turned out to be the gasket connecting the manifolds to the y pipe
