Last Thursday when I was headed home and I got a CEL. Got it home and parked it until I could get a scanner. It came up with the P0430. Googled the code and it told me bank two catalytic converter is below efficiency. I'm wondering if I can drive the truck until I can get it to my mechanic and what would be the best way to repair it.
    Thanks in advance

You can keep driving it for a while. If you are a tree hugger you can get the cats replaced at any exhaust shop (or diy if you have a sawzall and a welder), or if you don't have emissions testing you can delete the cats and get an URD O2 simulator. It could also be an O2 sensor, but unlikely. If you ever plan to register the truck in cali, you can only use OEM Toyota cats, and they are extremely expensive. High flow aftermarket cats can be purchased through summit racing for a reasonable price. I think the emissions warranty is pretty long on our trucks, like 100K miles so you may check with the dealer and see if you can get it done under warranty.

EDIT: I looked it up it's an 80K mile warranty. http://www.toyota.com/t3Portal/document/omms/T-MMS-12PriusV/pdf/2012_Toyota_Prius-V_WMG.pdf
