    Yes I saved $300, yes I made them fit on a 4x4.
afe y pipes. Made it almost to loud. But throwing a p0430 code. Ovtune is slow to respond, does any know a solution to keep from getting catalyst deficiency?

Interested myself, as i am looking at purchasing that exact y-pipe. Are you possibly getting a air leak at the flanges before the rear o2 sensors? Are there gaskets there? You could seal the flanges with some ultra copper rtv and see if that fixes the code. Just spit balling, but thats the first thing I would do.

Did you tighten from the down pipes back (would cause a leaks not to)? Did you put new copper based anti seize on the 02 sensor threads when you re installed (wrong anti seize or getting it on sensor part would Jack things up? Missing these steps could cause your code.

Still no reply from ov tune . I do like the power gain in lower to mid rpms. It is much louder than I expected. I tightened up everything. Still getting code; I’m off this week and will detune it back to 87 octane and possibly an exhaust dump tune I believe I saw on the list.

I’m curious about the fitment... I am looking at this pipe as well (no cats) and was curious as to what you did to fit it... was there a clearance issue? Also, did you match these up to the aFe down pipes or did you keep OEM?

Kept oem down pipe and it fit with my mbrp exhaust. I had to take off the skid plates to the transfer case and some bending. I would like the drive side pipe little further away for heat issues but it works for now.

I think he said he was gonna be gone for a few days, he has to count all the money he's been raking in because the bank thinks he's drug dealer.

Ended up with kdmax tuning I like it’s drive ability better not as much top end, but I was looking for bottom end and got it. I added a muffler cause it was just to loud(now running dual mbrp). In doing that I added a x pipe and moved the y pipe away from the transfer case. Still would throw codes(before Kdmax tune, their tune cleared the code from the o2) but to pass inspection I put a spark plug spacer and a gap. On the o2s yes I had to make room on passenger side. But hey it passed

I can offer an explanation on the code for whatever it may be worth to this conversation. I preface by saying my knowledge is Ford based but OBDII is similar to all Manufacturers. If you were to watch/graph the 2 hego and 2 Cat sensors, you would see the 2 Hego's going rich/lean constantly as the PCM corrects based on oxygen content. The 2 Cat sensors do the same thing but move very, very, very slowly due to the catalyst operation. With Ford my tester (IDS) I could also access something called Mode 6 Data and actually see the numbers that the PCM has seen. The PCM compares the frequency of hego/cat sensors and if it sees similar frequency, it sets a code P0420/P0430. Anything done that will affect that can set those codes. I have diagnosed a lifetime of those codes with Ford. I have seen cat sensors located to far from cats, no cats, aftermarket cats, and probably things I have forgotten cause those codes. I think there are programers and kits sold to fool the PCM.
