2006 TRD Sport 4.0 187k. Truck runs great, no power or economy loss. Intermittent P0430 code.

I purchased a cheap OBD reader and this is what the O2 sensors are showing. I’m pretty sure they look normal. I reckon I need a damn cat..

    Thank you for your time.

Thank you. I have watched that and the many videos that came after in response. Seems to work a small amount of the time. Since I have no performance loss my thoughts are that the cat isn't so much cloggged/dirty as much as it's just old and depleted perhaps.

If anyone can confirm that the O2 data looks like they aren't the problem at least I can rule them out.

I found that another function this device runs is catalyst temp. Again, I do t know the exact numbers they should’ve at but they are very consistent with each other in relation to position and at 700-800 degrees im thinking the cats are good to go.

    any confirmation would be appreciated.

You need to graph af and o2 voltage once warm.

Disconnect a vacuum line like the brake booster to induce a lean and see if the o2 voltage swings with the af voltage. Just do bank 1 and bank 2 separately with your scanner.
