P0446 code

Whats up forum!
The check engine light turn on and show the p0446 code, I check the resistence of the VSV and have 40 ohms, I test it with the battery and sounds a click but its sounds a little low, somebody know if the resistence value its correct or should I bought another VSV?

 

The coil of any vacuum switching valve should be 0 ohms.

just what range is your meter on?

Corrosion on the pins ??

You buy those off ebay.....You can get a zipped pdf for any model/year....
there's hyper links in it so if you put all that in a folder, it acts just like a web page pulling up the different chapters/pages.

Usually in the $20 to $30 range.

Hardcopy for a single FSM starts around $100...

4 or 5 book set, with wiring, tranny, ect....starts about $140.

ON those they are heavy on 5vz....so you have to dig a little to find 2rz/3rz details....
