So, I’ve recently been having issues with my truck idle, very low and unstable

I currently have a P0606 fault code that has accompanied this issue. There are also two O2 fault codes (037 & 056) but those have been in fault because the 02 probes dont exist

    Troubleshooting includes:
    -Ground and power supply
-Basic wiring all around along with fuses
    -water pump and cooling system
    -physical damage to said ECM/PCM

Noted: on the cooling system I have noticed that my truck is running a bit hotter than normal and plan to change the water pump soon - temps are around 210-215 at idle and 220-30 when driving depending on ambient temps

I plan to get it look at professionally but I wanted to see if there was something I could do before hand.

    truck is a 06 Tacoma 4.0L

The ECM code is for an internal fault.
There is a Main CPU and Sub-PCU inside the ECM.
There really isn't anything to check outside of opening up the ECM.

Also, what do you mean the probes don't exist on the O2 sensors?
    Is the whole sensor gone?

The actually exhaust O2 probes are gone since I took my cats off, is what I was referring

I'd sooner suspect the lack of downstream sensors to be the cause of the P0606, I often see it on Toyotas with a failed/failing O2/AFR sensor. Don't know why as nowhere in service info does it list an O2 sensor as a possible cause but sensors typically fix it.

    That's crazy.
But perfectly reasonable by todays standards.
Who would think a throttle valve discrepancy code would be caused by faulty O2 sensors (or in this case missing)
    That's service data for you.

This is where in field experience takes the win.

I don't know but nearly every time I've encountered a P060x code on a Toyota it also had an AFR/O2 sensor code present and resolving that code (typically by replacing one or more of the AFR/O2 sensors) also resolved the P060x code.
