    I'd check the wire harness for continuity. I also have a 2006. I took apart the front of my truck to get at the AC condenser and my horns fell off. The wire just crumbled. Gearcruncher shared that there was an recall on the harness/connector. If you replaced two switches, the likelihood of them both being faulty is low, imo. Can always just leave the jumper on, but then your truck won't be idiot proof, which would be bad for someone like myself :p
