    what are those?
Today while driving my check engine light came on and I read the code and it was P0724 brake light switch.

The traction light was also on.

I checked the tail fuse with a test light and it was blown so I know I need to replace that fuse but what is weird is I just replaced that fuse about a week ago.

reason i replaced it about a week ago was that the traction control and ABS light were coming on out of nowhere and somewhere someone mentioned to check the tail fuse it might be blown and sure enough it was.

any idea what would be causing it to blow and what else i should look at after changing fuse?

    Thanks,

    All stock, baby!
Do you have a trailer light harness/module connected to your brake and turn signal lights? If so, look for possible shorts in there.

I second this, if you have an aftermarket trailer plug adapter that would be the primary suspect area for both issues.
If you have a factory tow package 7 way plug, your gona have to look for shorted wires and test the brake light switch outputs.

You may also want to edit your title as P0274 isn't a valid code:spy:

Thanks for pointing out my typo but I dont know how to edit.

I will check these things this weekend as I am out of town and have limited tools in my truck on the road.

no aftermarket its a 2015 trd sport with factory harness.
