P1300 Code, Replaced Spark Plugs Now Won't Start

    OME and worth every penny.
    One thing to check first would be the spark plug boot that goes down the well. Most likely would throw a mis-fire only but strange things happen with voltage leaks.

    On that engine the igniters are part of the coil pack.

    You have igniter 1 and igniter 2 to trip that code most likely a poor connection .

    Clean the coil pack plugs with electric clean as well as the harness side as well.

    i know this has been 3 years ago and would love to know what you figured out, currently dealing with sort of the same problem. So i bought an engine with about 65k miles with coil on plug for each one (couldn’t find a motor with side mounted coil packs) but got all that converted over with no problem. Throwing a P1300 and P1310 motor will not start. Coil packs are good. Crank and cam sensor seem to be okay. Now im lost with it.
