Just came back from a 700 mile trip and when I went to start it the next day it was throwing those two codes "cylinder 1 injector 'b' circuit/open" and "cylinder 1 misfire detected" and running rough. Switched out the spark plugs, erased the codes, but they came back immediately. Any advice before I bring it into the dealer for repair? Truck has aboot 85k on it.

I think B is the port injector. I'd take a look at the wiring to see if maybe a rodent chewed it or it was damaged in some way.

Anyone have any recommendations for replacing this, or part numbers? It looks like there are two sets of wires going to that side of the plug.

Did you ever replace the connector? Searched the code as my scanner didn't have the reference and found this. Same issue exactly. I couldn't get the connector apart and 4 wires are still attached so ot doesn't move much to investigate. The white pin spacer has a clip ypu can move with a precision driver, but I couldn't get the pins to move and had to solder it for now.

How did you ever get this fixed? Incredibly enough I now have the exact same problem. Couldn't even believe it when I found your post!!! I am struggling to figure out what this thing is called to start looking for a replacement part(s)... any help would be much appreciated!

You have to repair the wiring. Depinning and repinning those types of connectors can be a PITA if you've never done it before.

In all seriousness, since you have already diagnosed the problem exactly, you might be best served taking it to a local independent shop and telling them exactly "repair my #1 cylinder injector harness where I have already pinpointed the harness is broken". Expect to pay 1 hr of labor. Maybe 1.5 at most. Most shops have a 1 hr min labor charge.

If it were me, I would simply clip off each connector and splice the wires together using heat shrink butt-end connectors. A box of 10 will cost you a couple of bucks at any auto parts store.

Some people will disagree with losing the plug/unplug capability but I would worry about that much later.

Hello All. I just found this site. My name is Bill. I have a 2016 Tacoma TRD off road. My problem is Squirrels! They ate some of my wires.
I need the part number for the plug in the picture. The numbers are 126(I think)19
    E12
You can see the chewed off wires.
Thanks in advance for any help!
