Hey I never thought of that! Now I'm tempted to call "Auto Anything" and see if they will discount me the PE switchblade. They have a 20% discount deal going on right now!! But again their notes also state that PE is not eligible.. If they don't then I'll do what you did and hit up auto accessories garage.

I agree with what you said too about the manufacturers tho. Imagine if stores offered that 15% or 20% off on ALL items, no exclusions! It would be bonkers. Sales would go through the roof.

I have no complaints at all with it. It has seen several car washes with only a few drops sneaking in.

No complaints. Getting some rain today and nothing major to complain about. Just a few drops by the tailgate. But should be a simple fix with the extra weather stripping that they provide. All in all, I'm very satisfied with the cover.

how tough is the case it rolls up into? does the metal case seem to bend/dent easy?

Canister is pretty durable. It's holds it's shape and doesn't dent easily. Durable like a Rubbermaid trash can. One reason why people buy this cover is it's easy to take on and off. If it was made out of metal it might be more prone to a dent or two. With it being made out of strong plastic you have less chance of putting a dent in it from frequent removals. At least that's what I take from the design.

Just ordered from AutoAnything over the phone last week. Got a shipped price of $728.73. Salesman also said that they have a price match guarantee for 1 year.

Going to order one this week. Have you noticed any difference in your fuel consumption since installing the tonneau?

    Nope.

If there is a slight increase, the cost of the cover makes it hard to recoup it. I bought it for the security and looks of not being able to see into the bed.

I suspect such claims are more marketing then fact. I too want one for the same reasons. I do track my mileage, more for something to do than for any other reason. Being retired one has to occupy ones time with something other than watching the world go to hell in a hand basket, a lament of every senior generation that has come along. ;)

    Take Care

I fully believe it a perfect world, that there is a increase in MPG. What are we talking though? 11% is what Pace Edwards claims.....I can tell you thats not true. If I had a full bed of oddly shaped items, I am guessing the cover helps more, than a empty bed.

The only "problem" i had with the install, is the instructions say that no drilling is needed. Unfortunetly they wast you to fit a 1" tube, through a .25" hole for the drainage of the storage box. I called them, and was told that is a misprint.....

I was not willing to drill a hole that big in my bed. I went to Home depot and bought some brass conectors to attach the hose to drain. I did have to slightly enlarge the drain holes, but barely.

I dont remember the sizes I bought, I just took the drain hose to the store and tried till it fit. The fitting in the bottom pic screws into your drain hose. It is then inserted into the bed drain hole. The top picture is then tightened from below the bed. You will need someone helping you to do this job.

    Hi guys,

The Pace Edwards website doesn't seem to have the 2016 Tacoma as an option. I've got the DCLB, just wondering what product number you guys are using to fit.
