@MapleTaco Try the website called paceedwarddirect.com. It's a retailer but the order goes pretty fast and the price is negotiable :) I was quote $700 shipped, placed the order last Friday and expecting delivery from Fedex on 30th. And yes they do confirm the bed size. Good luck

How do you think it will stand up security wise? It's made of plastic and that concerns me. They make a metal one which is substantially more money

There is no plastic on the switchblade. It os metal ribs running across the bed. Tje outer skin is a vinyl material but thats for water proofness. I am very confident in the security and snow load of rhe cover.

If people want your stuff bad enough it's gone.
That was a commercial for roll n lock. My guess is if that same person was not being paid by them for a commercial, he could have broken in no problem.
Guy walking around with a crowbar can smash out the windows of any cap or cab in 1 swing.
I don't keep anything valuable in my bed when it's parked, even though I have locks.

I realize that also. I don't keep much of nothing in my bed either. And I don't live in a high crime part of the country. I figure if someone were to cut my TruXedo Lo Pro and steal what is in my bed they need it worse than I do.

I want to say 10-12" off the top of my head. I do not use my switchblade anymore as I got a cap, so not sure.

Im really interested in purchasing this cover for my 2014 ive been looking all over and want to buy something that maximizes my bed space but is still durable i was just wondering if someone on here had pictures of it installed on a 2014? id like to see how it looks if possible. I saw someone on here posted they put it on there 2013 and loved it which gives me hope that i will like it as well.

Waking this thread up from the dead...

How has the switchblade held up long-term? I like the roll-out style tonneau and this is the model I keep coming back to for the 2018 DCSB I’m picking up this week. Are there any others I should consider? Most important to me are durability, ease of install/removal and of course security.

The 1 problem I had with it was the metal pieces that slide into the Tacoma bed rails is made from aluminum. So if you are putting it on/off you need to be careful not to strip them. I stripped 1 and had to fight with Pace Edward's to replace it since it was just barely after them end of the 1 yr warranty.

I have one to install on my 2016 Tacoma, thanks in part to your post. I’m not seeing the drain holes under the mat, and assume there are some under the bedliner. It’s nearly impossible to see anything from under the truck, and certainly to drill from below. It looks like I may need help from the dealer. Am I missing something? Can the bedliner along the top rails stay on?

    Thank you!
