Planning to get a set within the next few weeks, just got new 16" VTX Terras to wrap around. I've been back and forth between LT vs. P265/75s...From what I've seen does it really come down to preference when deciding which load range to go with. I know some talk about E load having better puncture resistance just since they're a thicker tire meant for heavier loads and all that. Just been on the fence and trying to weigh pros/cons of E load and P-metric.

From what I have been able to gather:
LT are heavier, which means tougher sidewall, higher weight rating...but also rougher/louder ride and lower MPG. Also, the tread depth is deeper, so better off-road traction but lower MPG.
Unless you do a lot of heavy hauling/towing or serious offroading, I would go with P metric.

You might be correct but when I ran with P metric, I couldn't find what put a slash in my sidewall. It was just like somebody taking a box knife razor and just slashed my sidewall to it, couldn't find the culprit and only moves 3 in.
I will sacrifice my MPGs with the confidence I have in my e rated.

Not just the puncture resistance and deeper tread, the E rated appear to wear better as well.

12” of new snow pulling an AWD Volvo out of my neighborhood. They were high-centered so I drug them for 6 blocks

Drove around all day as 20+ inches fell in under 8 hours. Drove through some massive snowbanks and unplowed roads in the process. Overall, had a lot of fun. These tire exceeded my expectations in the snow.

Now that's putting them to the test! Not that I'll see even an inch of snow out here, nice to know they'll perform.

I’ve never owned a better set of tires. They have performed flawlessly in all conditions, are quiet, wear well, and are affordable.

My son is learning to drive. I trust these tires while he’s driving in the snow in 2wd - enough said.
They do break free as all tires do, but they are extremely predictable And consistent.

I run 36 all around at that size and have a good quiet ride and great wear. Everything is wearing evenly and for 10k they almost look new.

I run what’s on the door sticker - 30psi cold. Wear is good. Ride is good. When I had them installed, they were at 40 psi and felt terrible.
I’m stock weight with a camper shell.
