Adding to the Falken collection.... Ripped off the BFG KO2s immediately and had Discount tire put these on, like I originally wanted.

Yeah had SPC UCA's installed with the lift and took it for an alignment. All is set. NO CMC or anything either. Just had to remove front fenders.

I assume with the PRO, no clearance issues?

No issues at all. Though I will state I haven’t been in a full articulation situation yet

Well, 500 miles later I burned through my first tire. Driving down the I70 I noticed a sudden dropped in pressure, pulled over and was bleeding air. Don't know what I hit but went right through a lug near the outside edge of the tire.

I suppose bad things come in threes - when I went home for Christmas a buddy picked me up from the airport, and he blew a tire on the way home (also brand new tires). Drive my girlfriends dad's car a few blocks to the liquor store, and both rear tires suddenly went flat.. Now my tire, next to brand new and not repairable! Good thing for the discount tire certificates.

5100's all around, OME 887 with 1/4" spacer, icon 3 leaf aal. 255/75/17 BFG KM's on 4runner pro's. Rigid led pods. Debadged and tinted.
I got to spend some quality time with these tires in some rough conditions today. All in all, they did great. We had between 3-6" of snow on top of ice. The braking grip was phenomenal. I was in 4wd, so of course acceleration was good. 2wd acceleration was decent, but with no weight in the bed, I didn't expect much. Cornering grip was also good. I did experience some sliding while cornering, but I was definitely trying to push the tires. I am honestly beyond impressed with the braking.

Onto the bad... On dry roads, they definitely produce a lot of white noise. I'm coming from mud tires, and was still surprised by the noise. It's not bad or intrusive, but it is there. Almost like wind noise. They are louder than my ko2's on higher speeds, but more quiet at low speeds. The ko2's sound like you're driving on wet pavement nearly all of the time. The only time the tires struggled today was in slush. Honestly, as dense as the slush was, I don't think any other tire would do better.

Overall, I am impressed with the tires thus far. They are cheap, and great in snow and ice. I'm excited to try them in the rain as well. The p rated tires ride nice. They have a higher load rating than the c rated tires I replaced, and they ride every bit as smooth. So far so good!

    Looks good.

Provide an update on how big of a hit you take on your MPG with the P rated 285s when you can.

What basket is that on your roof that fits on the OEM roof rack? I know it’s extreemly hard to find one that fits the OEM.

Got a set of 265/75s put on this past Friday, overall ride, noise, handling, etc has been great. Rides smooth on the highway and haven't had any problems in the slush, packed snow, and ice we have right now. Had to remove front flaps due to slight rub in tight turns just before full lock, not a biggy. Haven't decided if I'm going to trim down and reattach the OEM flaps or get some rokblokz/something similar. Sorry for the crap photos...I'm not too good at the whole picture taking thing, I'll try and get some better ones posted up soon.download-1.jpg
