Not beach sand, but super soft sandy washes in the desert. They dig in a little until the sidewall lugs start to make contact, and then they just pull.

Removed front mud guards, tech said they look like they might rub so I told him just take them off. With them off no rubbing at all right now. Tech had a bit of a hard time getting the TPMS up and running but it seems to be all good now. Last picture is the old Toyo and the new ATW3

We did a CMC with BAMF’s precut replacement and a plastic trim. It may have rubbed once during a hard turn in compression but otherwise no issues at all. I’m happy I went with them over any thing smaller. There honestly isn’t much appreciable road noise over stock and I don’t feel anything in the steering wheel either.

Check your air pressure. Shop put mine on and aired them to 40psi. Truck ride like dog $h!7. 30psi cold works great.

Those look great on your truck! I might just get the 265/75/16, don't need to replace my PRO wheels.

Anybody with P285/70/17 wanna chime in with an average mpg they’re getting with this tire?
If the reported 50lbs is accurate, it’s on the lighter side of 285s.

Thanks for the responses, im liking these tires more and more. Curious what load rating you guys are running? I think I read something about the difference in sidewalls when airing down. I usually air down to 15psi and am going with 265/75/16 if that makes a difference.

Waiting until Presidents day to pic these up in 265/75r16. Question: if I wanted to drive to Big Sur from Long Beach, CA how would these tires hold up?

I'm sure they would hold up fine for that as long as you had a spare and aired down when appropriate.

Thanks! Actually just sold my truck, but I had 27k on them and they still rode perfect. Had 13/32 left at my last rotation (new was 18/32), so should have gotten close to 70K out of them.
