Is yours E rated (10-ply)? think i read E rated tires are harder to balance.

Just looked. $478 for 265/75/16. If that rebate works too brings it down to 408 that’s a great deal. Might be ordering tires this weekend

Saw DT eBay store had ST Maxx on 10% off yesterday. I had the eBay search saved as “Falcon AT3W” but the DT eBay listing was not showing up. After your comment i searched again with “Falcon AT3”, finally DT listing popped up. E-rated Done deal LOL. Mine should be here soon! Happy Friday!

Is there any common thread for people who’ve had balancing issues or is it completely random? I have these sitting in my shed waiting to be installed and I’m wondering if I made a mistake buying them.

Make sure the installer knows the difference between the red and yellow balancing dots and you should be fine.

after 3 different places, none seemed to pay any mind to this, each tire the stem was just in a random spot, I brought it up and they didn't seem to care or said the balancer takes care of that anyway.. irritated me

Are those general grabbers? Did you not like them? Asking because they look almost new, why are you changing tires?

I assume you are asking me. Those are KO2. I needed to buy new tires for wife’s 4Runner so decided to transfer the 1-yr old KO2 on Tacoma to 4Runner and use this “Opportunity” to upgrade the Tacoma to 285. Win Win situation! Haha  :D :D

I know you were talking to Tibetan Nomad, but I hate my BFG KBro2's so much I constantly consider buying the Wildpeaks just to get rid of them even though they are fairly new.

I just got out of my KO2's today into Falken Wildpeak A/t3w (same tire here in OP) and can see/feel a noticeable difference! Very happy with these tires so far! They just seem to handle better for my style of driving. Not sure how they perform off road yet though.

Phenomenally. I have a set on my work truck that sees severe off-road law enforcement use and they are in the top 3 best tires I've ever run.

Good to know! Came from 265/70/16 to 265/75/16, not a huge jump by any means, but definitely noticeable to me

I think I'm going to go for these with a P rating, as the truck is my daily driver. The most offroading I would do is maybe a forest trail, just to get to a backpacking trailhead. Where have you all found the best place to buy these from?

When I bought mine I waited for a sale on ebay (15%, 20%+ if you're lucky) at the time they had a $70 rebate too and I bought from here:
