That sucks. Road force moved to tomorrow at 5. 20+ inches of snow this weekend for us, so I'll be updating how they handle

DT got more in today. Claim 4 ply. They said they have a road force machine, we'll see. Sometimes it's hard to tell if they're just trying to get a sale. Road force only way to go.

I may ask them to refund my certificates. I think $19 a piece, plus $20 a piece to install may be a bit excessive. $15 a tire at Sam's to install and that includes life balance and hazard.

I’m curious about that Sam’s hazard because most are prorated vs certs are full replacement/refund.
Can’t beat that $15 install plus though.

You should really just buy rims and tires, free mount and balance that way!

I got the TE stock wheels and they've held up good and look good enough for me.

I got mine during Black Friday and recently
had them installed. Took the truck to Tahoe in a blizzard last night and tires held up great. Had a slight vibration but nothing as bad as my duratracs.

Does anyone have any high miles on these tires? Wondering how they are wearing.

I've found that the Falken AT3W P265/70-17 115 Load index, made in Thailand, is a harsh riding tire when directly compared to these 3 other tires on the same vehicle, a 2005 Sequoia, and all at the same 35psi.

AT3W (tire alone ~46 lbs) mounted on OEM Sequoia alum 17x7.5 compared to:
    1) P265/65-17 Chinese touring tires (~42 lbs) on OEM Sequoia alum 17x7.5
    2) 255/80-17 LR E Cooper ST Maxx (~58 lbs) on steel FJ 17x7.5 rims
    3) LT265/70-17 LR D BFG KO2 (~52lbs) on OEM Sequoia alum 17x7.5

Best ride in order from best to worse:
BFG KO2 D, then Cooper E, then touring and worst is AT3W.

I was shocked that the LR D and E tires rode considerably better. I borrowed the 255/80 Coopers from my Tacoma for about 300 miles while I was swapping the Sequoia tires from touring to the Falken AT3W. I was surprised that the heavy Cooper "commercial traction" tires road nice, a bit softer than touring tires.

Then came the switch to Falken AT3W P265/70-17, I immediately noticed an increase in harshness. I thought that going up 1 size from the touring 265/65 would bring a reduction in ride harshness, I was disappointed that the ride got worse. I wonder if the Falken "bead apex" is the reason for rough ride.

Another thing is that the Falken AT3W P265/70-17 made in Thailand are the stinkiest tires ever, and it smells really bad. I could smell them walking past the vehicle months after they were mounted. Just stating fact in my case.

    The Switch to Bfgoodrich
I continued to run the Falken AT3W for 4,100 miles, after which I switched to the above mentioned BFGoodrich KO2. I was shocked how good the ride improvement was, and gone was that jarring and harshness that the Falkens brought.
Another huge benefit was the noise level dropped to a true whisper with the BFG's! I realized that the Falken AT3W were actually loud, despite being nearly full tread, and being touted as a "quiet" tire, it just isn't the truth.

I couldn't be happier with the switch to BFGs unless they gained tread depth the more you drove them and turned lead into gold.
The BFG tires are truly truly worth every penny. Going forward, BFG and Cooper will continue to be my tires of choice. Both made in USA.

    Eric

I'm not getting the harshness, they surprisingly are much softer than I was expecting (32psi on LT265/70R17) yes, ride changed a little, but nothing super drastic that makes me want to get rid of them. If they had a 6ply, I'd definitely have gone with those in this size, but the 6 ply were smaller sizes. :(

Just picked up from the dealer, didn’t stay clean for long, ride great on the road so far, and way better than my Khumo AT51 on this little trail.

The tread and sidewall look badass, much more impressive in person than all the photos I’ve seen.

Got mine on. Ride is much better than my duratracs, but those were cupped, but that started cupping 25 k ago. Also steering wheel shake is gone!
Another thing, mine say made in usa...

Maybe a certain date they started in usa or it's the 4 ply? What say you DT? I was totally expecting Thailand and for the steering wheel shake to remain

Maybe, looks like mine are made 26th week (June), bought them in August and yours are 46th week (November)
