I never had mud flaps and if I did I would have removed them immediately. Same with step bars or bug shields. Not my style.

Truck is stock height with a lot of rake. Probably going to level it out. Dunno if it had AAL TSB or not but the rear is def not sagging.

And yes they are meaty AF and they make shitty roads no big deal compared to my bald wranglers. Look awesome in person. My pics on the last page kinda give the in person feel a little cause the angle. I did not want to keep saving for another month for KO2s.

Mine are not pulling in either direction like some have mentioned. Love em so far.

Here’s some pictures of the A/T3W’s in the plant. Pics of them as a green tire and coming out of the curing presses.

30,000 miles. To recap, this is on a lumbering beast of a Silverado 2500. Running 36psi up front and 32 in the rear. These tires see routine 90MPH+ on the highways, sharp rocks and deep sand off road. They have performed nothing short of amazingly in all conditions tested. I hope to take these tires all the way to 40 or 50K before they will be taken out of service.

Purchased mine from DTD on Ebay and got them installed yesterday. 265/70/17 SL on FN FX PRO 17x8s. Loving the setup so far. I did have a bit of steering wheel shake right off the bat at highway speeds, but it seems to be subsiding after a bit of driving. We'll see...

I really like these tires but I need 245/75/16's and that size seems to be the ones with the balancing issues. I live about 30 minutes from my tire shop and want to avoid multiple trips if there's an issue. For those running this size what's been your experience?

My other work truck has that size in Load Range E and has not had any balancing issues.

I'm running the XL version of 245/75/16s with over 2000 miles on them and have had no problems. I thought it was 265s that people were having problems with.

I’ve run this size in a load range E for two winters. Probably >15,000 miles on them and not one issue. Balanced easily and are wearing very well.

The XL version is what I'm look in at so this is good news. I'm a few months away from replacing my Destination AT's so I'm looking at options.

Just received my new 17x8 Pro Comp wheels with Falken Wildpeak A/T3W 265/70R17. Bought them from DTD and had them shipped to a border close to me, then brought them over to Canada.

So far I LOVE the look, and they seem to ride without any shakes. I've only put 10km on them so far and brought them up to highway speed once so fingers crossed there's no balancing issues.

I’ve got 2500 miles on mine now. 235/85 16 skinnies. They have been great without being loud. Very stable on snow/ice. Not much opportunity to evaluate vsc or trac with these! .

What PSI is everyone running in their tires? I'm currently at 40 PSI

For reference, mine are 265/70R17 SL and I'm looking for an ideal pressure for wear and good MPG.

I have the same size, I run them at ~36 front and rear. I had them at 40 for a while, but after going down to 36, I find the ride is much more comfortable, without significant loss of MPG. So that what I run them at now.

I'm going back to Wildpeaks. I bought a used set of TRD Rims with Duratracs installed and am not impressed at all by them. I don't see the benefit over the Wildpeak and have not noticed any increase in ice/snow performance.

Now I just need @Discount Tire Direct to have a sale again on some 265/70/17 and some new TPMS! I guess I could stick it out to the fall....

    Never Enough
I am jumping in on this DTD promotion. I can't keep putting it off. I would have pulled the trigger a while ago but I let the internet scare me with all the balancing issues. I researched so many tires... I narrowed it down to Hankook Dynapro ATM, Goodyear Ultraterrain, Cooper ATP, and Primewell Velara AT, and of course Falken Wildpeak AT3W.

Cooper ATP are a bit boring and I have been running Cooper AT3 for 40000 miles. They have been a great tire but I want something different. The price of around $150 was a bit rich for what it is too.

GY Ultraterrain look amazing but even after a $60 mail in rebate (around $150 after rebate) just can't touch the WP in price. I also have never been a huge Goodyear, Kelly, Dunlop, fan. That opinion is mostly based on ATV & Street motorcycle tires. My wife has GY Eagle High Performance tires on her car and they are crap for sticking to the road in high speed situations and launches. They are wearing very quick too. I will be surprised if we get 25000 out of them.

Primewell are a Bridgestone/Firestone sister company. They use the same rubber compounds but NOT the same molding techniques. I thought about doing it just to experiment. I like being an odd ball and trying something different. The price of $109 per tire was also attractive. However, it would take over a week to get them in and with the DTD sale the WP are not much more.

I was going to buy the Hankook tires next Monday at a very good price of $122 per tire but then I found out about the DTD promotion for this weekend.

I am looking forward to getting the tries. Fingers crossed that I have zero issues.

I also want to thank all the commenters in this thread for being honest in their reviews and making people aware of the good and the bad in regards to the Wildpeaks.
