I had the 265/70R17 installed on SEMA wheels over the weekend and am surprised how much rubbing I was getting. I removed the OEM mud flaps and that helped. Still getting the occasional rub if I hit a bump on a hard turn, like pulling into the driveway.

You may need trim the mudflaps in the wheel well, or bend them back. I had a lot of rubbing along the front side, and I hammered the Pinch Weld.

Anyone else running Ray 10s on their Falkens?

Got my 285/70/17 installed with my 17x8.5 Ray 10s & noticed DTT used a lot of weights.

Have y'all noticed a lot of weights too?

Will they work with stock suspension?
They are same height but 1.5" wider from my understanding.

    Thank you!

Just order my 2nd set of Wildpeaks. Going to better rotating them so they last a little longer. I only got about 50,000 out
    of my 1st set.

Decided on Wildpeaks 267/70/17, but now I'm debating on SL vs. E1?

I was initially going to get the SL cause I'm mostly in-town driving and do have the occasional trip up to the mountains. But since getting a Tacoma, my off-roading buddies are starting to plan some trips, so it is worth getting E?

Is the on road ride quality that rough?

I've got about 2k miles on my Wildpeaks and I absolutely love them. Amazing ride on road, and was surprised how quiet they are. Haven't had much chance to try them off road yet though.

I think the people that complained about the ride quality of E rated tires were exaggerated. I haven't had any complaints with 7000+ miles on them. MPG did not suffer too much and the additional insurance while traveling on rough rides is nice.

Shopping for a set of offroad/winter tires in 10ply (I spend a bunch of time steelhead fishing on a gravel road with super sharp gravel/gnarly sharp rocks) .....got my spreadsheet going on cost, tire weight etc. Keeping the stock tires/rims for my 19 TRD for my commuter tires. These tires are so damn cheap on prime and walmart....like $120 a tire for the E load LT265 75 R16 123/120S and the LT265/70R17 121/118S.....like suspiciously cheap. Why ? overproduction ? Are they old tires ? not that I care. I mean even if these are an OK tire....how can you NOT buy these for the price. a KO2 is at least $100 more a tire....Nitto's/Goodyears/Cooper are all in the 180 - low 200s range....overall thats like a $300 difference. Is this just a 2 month long special ?

Discount tire (in my area is having ) is having a 10% off sales on June 28/29....and said that it can be combined with the price match.....so 4 tires at $126 a tire less 10% discount = $453 for all 4 tires.

That's kind of why I'm leaning to the E. Found a deal to get them for about the same price. And I figured why not. Also going to baja in September for a trip and would feel better with that protection.

"Only" 50,000? That's pretty damn good for an aggressive all-terrain truck tire.

Shit I didn’t rotate them as much as I should have. So this set will be rotated accordingly. Two tires are nearly bald and two have decent tread left.

Update on mine... I've had them mounted for roughly 5,000 miles now and the truck has been back to Discount Tire twice for re-balancing to try and get rid of the highway shakes with no luck. This last visit yesterday they decided to replace the tires. Only two of them have the issue with balancing, but they're replacing all 4 at no cost.

Make sure the new ones are installed with the yellow dots aligned with valve stems. My local discount didn’t know that was supposed to be done.
