Thought I would post up an image of the Wildpeaks on a first gen, as there aren't very many in this thread. I have been running them in the stock size (265/70 r16 P metric) for about 10k mi so far and like them.

Previously ran Firestone Destination AT, but wanted to replace them with something more off-road oriented and with sidewall protection. So far they deliver with a mild increase in road noise, but are nothing like the howling tire monkey BFG KOs I had on my XJ. As mentioned, they are way beefy in person vs the on-line images. Been impressed with wet traction and dirty traction in AZ and CO at street pressures and when aired down. Gas mileage overall hasn't changed from the Destination ATs; in-town is a little worse (slightly heavier tire), and highway seems a hair better, which makes me think that these tires are taller than the Firestones.

Leaning toward to Falken to replace my 1k miles old Toyo Open Country AT30. How is it on the highway and the wear life? I do about 70% of the highway. Going for 265/70/17 on my '20 TRD Sport.

I find the highway manners to be really good, and the tires to be surprisingly quiet for how aggressive the tread design is. After 10k miles they are a little louder than when new but not obnoxious. One thing I noticed is that they are stiffer tire than the Destination ATs -- for me it helped the highway ride as it increased the overall spring rate of the vehicle (OE springs felt undersprung to me), but for some people they might feel that the ride is rougher. I can feel the tread squirm during cornering, but isn't alarming.

If you do get them, I found them to be a little slippery until the mold release compound wore off (100-200 miles or so).

I have the WildPeak A/T 3W 265/75 16 on my 2014 PreRunner SR5. Can i go a bigger / wider tire on the WildPeaks without rubbing on stock lift?

No, that generally the biggest size without a lift. The other option is the pizza cutter 255/85/16.

Thanks! Guess I'll stick with what I got until I get my lift.

Will these tires give me enough peace of mind if I want to do light offroading in Moab? (Shafer Trail, Gemini Bridges)

My biggest concern is sidewalk strength.

Should be fine. Those tires are way stronger than any pedestrians on the sidewalk. :boink:

(P.S. Get a C rated ply or higher for Moab)

I ran them (E load) pretty hard on Metal Masher, Hell's Revenge, Hurrah Pass, Thompsons to Onion Creek etc. Zero issues.

Can't find any on this thread. If anyone is running the 255/80/r17s on a 3rd gen. Post some pics! I want to see how they look. Thanks

Just had these put on 2 weeks ago and immediately went on a 2000 mile road trip. They did awesome on the highway and even better in the super deep & soft sand of Hatteras Island.

Any photos? Can’t find any 20 Sports with new tire photos. Deciding if I keep the wheels stock or not. Thanks!

Can anyone report on treadwear and Offroad performance of the 265/75r16 in SL load range?

I’ve got about 25K on mine. I haven’t measured the tread but visually it’s roughly 1/2. I my truck out this week and aired down @ 6-8 psi. Plenty of traction on slippery red clay when climbing. Downhill through shale w/o issue
