Have the true weights of these been confirmed. Falken site still showing 285/70/17 c load as being 62.8lbs vs e load at 58.9lbs

    can’t be right

I'm not sure what's in the works for this year's Black Friday promotion. We are still a couple months out on this but as soon as we have details to share we'll be sure to post up!

As always, we do guarantee the lowest out the door price. If a competitor has a cheaper advertised out the door price, we'll do our best to meet or beat it!

Help, I'm changing my mind on a daily basis on which tire size to get based on their advertised weight. TBH I wasn't expecting to see an E load that's nearly 5 lbs. lighter than a C load. Truck mostly sees pavement and dirt roads but also some class 4 roads from time to time. Going from 255/80/17 ST Maxx's to Wildpeak's. The reviews of the Wildpeak's in the rain and snow have piqued my interest living in the Northeast. ST Maxx's certainly held their own after 55K miles and my only qualm is that they pulled to the right.

The flash sale put me over the edge. I pulled the trigger on a set of 4. Can't wait to ditch the Goodyear Wrangler Kevlars. Although, they were pretty good tires for me. The Wildpeaks just look so good.

I’m surprised that someone at discount tire can’t throw a tire on a scale and get the correct weight. No way is a c load tire heavier than a E in the same size.

The weights are correct, the reason for the C rated being a little heavier is due to the overall size difference from a 265/70 to a 275/70, the 275 requires a little more material to build. I actually contacted Falken tire just to confirm this info.

Feel free to reach out to us if we can be of any further assistance.

I thought the guys were talking about the same size tire. definitely the 275 is going to be more than the 265, my mistake.

Those weights can’t be right. Pretty sure the OP was referencing the 255/80, that’s listed at weighing 52.5lbs. Which is almost a 1/2lbs lighter than the smaller 265/70; both E load.
You’re not the only one seeing the discrepancy in the weights listed. It’s gotta be wrong.

Yes, my thought process was that a 33" E load tire should weigh more than a 32" C load tire.
