That your wheels are jacked up or perhaps the guy's equipment or knowledge isn't up to par? I don't know, get what you feel comfortable. Afterall, these aren't $300 All Terrains so there are going to be some trade-off but they're certainly not bottom of the barrel Chinese tires, that's for sure.

I'm guessing that wasn't a road force balance with smartweight?

My Hankook tires were called the same by 4 or 5 local shops.

Yet, problems with them are uncommon on this forum and the same tires are incredibly popular.

Mileage may vary. If you aren't happy, return them and get a new set under manufacturer defect warranty.

I returned my Hankook Dynapro ATM RF10 after 7 months of constant problems.

I'm not at all concerned at this point and of course I know these aren't bottom of the barrel tires, falken is a good name. The truck feels fine on the road. I don't know what machine he used in the shop but it was a very highly reviewed mom and pop tire shop, and he has been there for a very long time so I assume his knowledge and equipment are fine (not sure about the tech that actually did the work of course) The wheels are new scs wheels, so again I don't think that is an issue. Don't let this frighten anybody, just documenting my experience for the group in case anyone else has seen it

Was that with all of them? Could be a bad tire.

    Looks like 285/75/17 is backordered??
Was told it'd be like a month before they'd be back in stock. They don't even show up on the regular Discount Tire website.. @Discount Tire Direct
I could either wait a month for the 285/75 or order 285/70s now. Decisions.....

    Ordered 5x 265/75/16's... Can't wait.

860out the door with tax, installation, certs, toms rebuild kits.

$135 in rebates aporoved/coming from discount, should have another $150 in rebates when my tread lightly membership packet comes in.

Comes out to $120 installed, each, including the cost of tread lightly membership and all rebates.

Just curious, why is a tread lightly membership required for the rebate?

Tread lightly gives out a $50 Discount Tire and $100 Falken tire rebate cards with a membership.

These are in addition to all of the rebates you normally get through discount tire and other sources.

Are they rebate forms where they send you a check or is it just a discount code?
If it is a discount code that would mean that I would have to wait for the packet to come prior to purchasing the tires.

Mail in rebate. The folks at tread lightly told me that as long as you were a member (paid your $25 fee) when you bought the tires, you should be fine to use the rebate cards.
