You will only get .5 inch in ground clearance but you will not rub or anything with oem wheels. Some may rub with mud flaps but you can remove them. Most of the time it’s the front flaps that rub.

    For all the A/T3W lovers:

    A/T4W Announcement:

Keep in mind this is a preproduction X-spec (experimental). Usually they are ran in old mold that as based off the same size/platform.

I’m assuming it’s safe to post this as they announced it on our work app. If not I’ll have to take it down.

    Enjoy!

    None...yet

Why do I read quite a few reports of these tires being very hard to balance. If I have to go back to my store, it’s 3hrs and & $20 in gas.

Any Tacoma World member discounts I can apply before processing?

Man I wish the AT3w came in 255/75/17, a perfect size/weight for more stock Tacomas. Maybe the 4w will? I can only hope!

We’ve added several new automated machines in our plant. I know they are planning for more sizes, not sure what they will be.

This is exciting news! Curious as to when Falken will officially announce this and start production.

I'm in the market for new tires but this news has me holding off waiting for this new design. hmm

I haven’t heard anymore news in regards to the A/T4W’s. I would expect several months. Not sure if we have the molds yet, and there could certainly be some last minute recipe changes or modifications

I don’t know much on that end, I just keep these machines running

I love my A/T3Ws, so beefy and aggressive looking, tons of grip. If these A/T4Ws level up from the 3Ws, it should be an awesome tire.
    Falken FTW!

Recently had a set of 265/75/16’s SL’s installed through @Discount Tire , couldn’t be happier with the ride quality. I knew they were going to be noisier than my previous tires, but it doesn’t bug me. Now I’m waiting on an aal install to round out the truck.

Unfortunately no, I don’t personally know any of the guys on the PCR development. Just guys in the Moto and TBR development teams. Maybe they will know something, so I’ll ask one of them when I seen them.

I have some exciting news. I reached out to Falken and asked about the release date of the AT4W. I didn’t expect to get an answer but they replied and this is the response I just received:

Well shucks, exciting but I was casually holding out and hoping they would drop before this winter. Oh well probably for the better so they have time to work out the kinks
