So curious to how much tread you have on them after 7k cause only after 4,500 miles I only have a little more than 11/32nds.

I think the last time I got them rotated at 5K they had 14/32 and my size starts with 17/32.

285/75/17, they are riding great with no vibration issues and are still pretty silent (barely hear them over the wind noise with the radio off).

Just some feedback on the Tires I noticed that one has a born on Date of 2015 and the other 3 are 2016. That's not unheard of. Also I'm learning all the time when I do an upgrade to the taco and my Tire installer lined the yellow Dot on the sidewall with the valve stem. My Tires came with both a yellow Dot And A Red Dot. When searching the Web on this it isn't clear what one to go with. One link says Yellow, and one Says Red! Lol! Anyway mine seem to be balanced great and need to check them at Highway Speeds.

Just had my 265/75r16's installed this morning on my 3rd Gen. Only a few miles on them so far... hopefully they all last! IMG_20161005_095510.jpg

Yellow is for valve stem, red is the heaviest part of the tire for weight reference.

Thanks for posting this. Now, I need to go back through this thread to see if any gen 3 owners are experiencing this with stock suspensions.

I wonder if it could be the tire. On my previous truck, I went through 3 sets of GY "Kevlar" tires before getting a set that could be balanced. There was one tire (left/rear) that had this type of wear in the first 50 miles, but it was on both shoulders (it was properly inflated).

You might reach out to @WILDPEAK to see if he has any insight. He has been great to work with while doing my research on tire options.

I was finally able to get these tires mounted. I chalk lined my tires and they were happy around 33psi (after about 10 miles worth of driving.)

I have the Front At 33psi and the rear at 32psi.

Found this Falken Promotional squeeze ball stress reliever shaped as a racing Helment on eBay. It'll ride in lower center console. Also ordered a 5th Tar and a reconditioned 4Runner wheel for a spare and will incorporate it in with my tire rotations . So far the tars seem great.

Lol! I see it now Doc!

While ordering my tire yesterday I checked on my Discount Tire $75 gift card and it was a good thing I did because there was a issue. The salesman straightened it out.

I emailed mine in and got a rebate awaiting confirmation email back that said it could take a few days to receive confirmation. So in the shuffle this week And being busy I never went on the site to check the status, so I was told yesterday that something didn't go through correctly and he fixed it.

    Glad it got fixed.
On another note, all well down there for you and yours? Hurricane-wise?
