Hey guys. I am on the fence about these or KO2s in 285 75 16 LT. From what Ive read in here, it seems like the at3w wears pretty quickly. And snow traction is okay. I live in Colorado and I need above average snow traction. I'm also going to be doing a good amount of wheeling come summer time.
With the tread life seeming short, would you guys buy this tire again? Or should I go with the reputable KO2?

Once these wear out I am more than likely going with Toyos.

Had them in the snow this morning. Seem very sure footed. But, they should be, i only have 1000 miles on em.

I have about 10k between two sets. Acceptable wear, and at the moment I would buy again. Falken also warranties treadlife for ALL sizes on the AT3W for 55k miles, they were responsive when I contacted them about premature wear (which I realized after was because they advertised deeper treads than they actually came with) At the moment, wear seems to be acceptable and I accept it to last the 55k

We got about 8 inches of snow the other night and I got to test the new tires out. Pretty impressed actually, they did better than my 50% worn ST Maxx for sure. Granted they are on different vehicles, but the Falkens performed well.

I have been in the Kootenays for the past couple of weeks. They have been excellent in the snow. Put some weight in the bed and you are GTG. I have been super-pleased with their winter performance out here. Wear might be an issue, but it is too soon for me to say.

Does anyone know if the tread lightly or dtd rebates are still active? Looking to pick up a set but didn't see any of these rebates.

Some friends and I got into some Deeeeep snow this last week. Here's a little tuck shot after I rallied a bit too hard over a big bump and launched out of the ruts. :D

Got these installed the other day and took them out this past weekend with TW for a snow run on MET. It was a blast and although I don't have a lot of experience in these elements, I'm very happy with how they performed.

Just purchased a Milton tire tread gauge so I can monitor the life.

After several months, these tires are working out very nicely! I've been on a few long road-trips and have zero complaints.

Just curious about how the tread-wear will be.

Oh, and it's also nice that these Falkens are available in a 285/70/17 P-rated. I don't know any other all-terrain tire that are available in that size/rating.

There are several actually. Toyo, Bridgestone, Nitto and few more manufacturers offer that size in an AT.
