There should be some small oval shaped stamped areas on the sidewall. The first 2 numbers are the week they were manufactured, the second 2 numbers are the year they were made. So if you had "4616", that would be the 46th week of the year 2016.

Thanks for that info. Mine are stamped 3MDR2116. Makes them born early May last year.

Initial impressions are good. Nice, aggressive looks, great dirt traction, and I can't hear them over the wind noise of the aging Dodge they are mounted on.

I only drive them for the day and got an alignment. But so far so good. Sound wise about the same as my stock Toyo a30s. I plan to update later. Thanks for the feedback on these guys. Was originally going to go with the KO2s.20170225_125613.jpg 20170225_125354.jpg 20170225_125300.jpg

Is the general consensus that these run large in all sizes? I am thinking about going with the less popular 235/85/16 size on steelies.

A few pics of my Wildpeak A/T3Ws mounted on 4Runner SEMA wheels. Went with a lower aspect ration for the 17s going up from 16s (265/65R17). Keeps the computer and speedometer + odometer happy. A few other mods are shown too. All is perfect. Mileage the same. Speedo and odometer are actually more accurate now than with stock 16s which was off by 2%. Verified with GPS on speedo and odometer. It's coming along gradually hundreds of $$$$ at a time. TRD or Magna Flow exhaust being pondered. Blackouts on the chrome + caliper covers TBD.

So I have seen several posts on differing MPG numbers. I installed these around the beginning of December and my fuel mileage has dropped ~1.5-2 MPGs. I removed the stock 265/70R16 Rugged Fails and installed AT3Ws in 265/75R16. According to the weights listed online, the AT3Ws are about 5 lbs heavier, but I see where other members have had the same weight change and kept their previous MPG. Any idea what else I'm missing or did I just lose the MPG lottery? I'm running about 36psi and I had an alignment done after I had the tires installed.

Remember your tires are bigger now and travel a longer distance per revolution. You need to factor in the difference for correct mileage.

Nope, I do have some 5100s and OME 885 springs up front, but even if I didn't I don't think there would be any rubbing. They are only an inch taller, therefore .5" on the radius.

Does anyone know how these compare to the hankook dynapro all terrain? As that is what I am currently riding on. Not on the market for tires this moment but just wanna have some options in the future. Bfg is a little too pricey for me

Very similar in every aspect. I went to these from Dynapro atm. When these come off I'll flip a coin.

I've had both and very similar characteristics. Both are very quiet and do well in dirt/rain, although I give the advantage to Falken in rain. Ride wise the Falkens are heavier, but both run smooth. Also the Falken is a lot more aggressive looking which I prefer.

Initial, but limited, impressions of these Wildpeaks. Installed them on Monday on a set of TRD 4Runner SEMA wheels and have driven mostly local miles with a few stints at 50mph. They are smooth and quiet so far. Have not been up at speeds where road noise can be evaluated but maybe this weekend. The wheels and tires mated nicely with no balance issues. Again, need to get above 70mph for this test. Have lots of compliments on the tire and wheel combo. They do look good. No speedometer/odometer issues since I went with one aspect size lower when moving up to the 17 inch wheels (i.e. 265/65R17). The 4mm offset of the wheels (contrasted to the stock 25mm) did not overwhelm by sticking out past the flares. It is pushing the limit though. Any more offset and I might have not been happy but these are great in stance and aggressiveness. I do not plan on any lift or suspension modifications of any kind. Unless these are done by Toyota I would fear warranty issues. And from what I have seen on the lot a package like that adds $15-16K to the Tacoma sticker. Ouch!
