damn Jan, What do you mean no one was seriously injured? that sounds gnarly, but glad all is well now.

on a side note you should have heard me say the word anticipation on the phone to my Truxedo rep yesterday morning. it was a good laugh for all :)

    Thanks Gang!

I don't remember much prior to waking up after surgery. For me, I was just going along for the ride. My husband was pretty shaken up....getting that *phone call* saying I was in an accident and being at the hospital waiting.

I normally drove my 96 tacoma daily. That day, I took the jeep. The tacoma was saved...and its still riding around town even today.

It was a very scary time. The sad part was, that Jeep wasn't that old, and Steve and Jandy just got it built up to the point it was.

I followed Steve and Jandy in their, I believe 95.5, red taco around for my first 2 wheeling trips with my stock 99 TRD. Centralia Strip Minds on a 10 degree day where Cornbred was testing out his "new" prototype front coil spacers running monster 33's. LOL. Then a few runs at Paragon. Back in the TTORA days.

Then a bunch of us started Keyston Krawlers.....Then the mods started....then I sold and got a SAS '86 4runner. Then a few more runs around strip minds, and Rausch Creek, and Paragon with Joe Sheldon, and my long lost brother Jon Kammans.

Oh, those were the days. I don't have pictures anymore....do you Jandy?

I still wear one of the original Keystone Krawler T-shirts...the one with Joe's Jeep flexed on the logo of the state. I wear it when-ever I am wrenching.

    I found an old CD

Here is a pic of the old 99 taco standing on Cornbreds original prototype coil spacers, AAL, 3" BL (5.75" of lift) and then new 33x12.5x15 Parnelli Jones Mudders on American Racing rims. I think this was a place called Blackhills or Blackwoods. Again, a stripmine in PA.

About 2 years ago, we upgraded our website and have gobs of space. I uploaded ALL the wheelin photos from years past. 7,000+ picts online dating back to that very firt Codorus Creek trip in 99. If you go to the 'OTHER' offroading pictures, scroll down - at the right side, click on the last pages (page 7), that's where the old stuff is.

Were you there for this one? That was early on and didn't know too many people on that trip.

Mickey!!! That guy helped me with many items. Where did he move to? Virginia? He bought a mint International Scout before I lost touch with him.

Steve (Tankoma) I was just thinking of him today, because I am talking to a kid not far from Steve's home town of Blossburg about a Supercharged T100. Frank gave me a front drive shaft for free prior to a run....pulled under a gas station roof to install it.

Here are some of pics I found from our first Paragon Trip. I was completely stock, and flipped out at every rock hitting frame "bam"! LOL Oh, how green we were.

Paragon ruled!! A damn shame that place closed up.

If it were still open, we'd probably still have the Jeep, tow rig & trailer.

Doesn't look like they're gonna build a cargo airport on the property either.

I don't know if Kyle & Stephanie are even doing anything to get themselves back to PA again... THey actually run the Badlands offroad park now. They might actually own that now.

And a few of me and Jack messing around one day after work. I still remember Jack getting stuck ontop of the frozen dirt mounts in Centralia, and Steve jumping out with his shovel....only to find that you couldn't dig frozen dirt.

Did Kyle drive a moster Bronco locked front and rear? I think I watched him climb a tree one time when I followed you and Joe around in your Jeeps. I was in my 4Runner. I still remember climbing a waterfall in that old 4runner that Frank didn't think was possible to climb.

    Badlands? You mean in Wyoming?

Can't remember what Kyle drove. Between Kyle and Kyle Jr. - and gawd knows how many rigs they had or at what stage of building they were in. Kyle Jr. had a turquoise jeep (?) built similarly to ours and he sold it a couple years ago. I remember talking to him about how much he got for it.
