    Thanks Gang!! It was a long time ago, and hope I never have to go through something like that again. I hope none of you guys have to go through a serious accident in your lifetime.

    The one thing I've learned through all that.....

    When you're on the highway (or anywhere for that matter) and the traffic suddenly comes to a halt (or major slowdown), I always put my 4-way flashers on in hopes it'll get the 'attention' of people who are behind me so they'll slow down and stop in time and prevent a similar collision, rear-end accident.

    Definitely, never underestimate the inadequacy of other peoples driving skills. I usually just hit and let of the brake a few times so the brake lights flash.

    Agreed. I pump the brakes, and sometimes put on the flashers. I have seen some really stupid things on the roads in my lifetime. You just never know what other people will do. You must always think "D-Fence."
