    Holy smoke!

“you may or may not buy”?

    That says it all.

So you bought a used vehicle “virtually “, without a test drive because if you travelled half way across the country you might have passed on it for some reason.

And now you are bitching about a tiny piece of plastic?

Didn't think I would need to post a picture of the grill with a missing letter but I can help provide you some insight. Imagine a TRD Pro grill that has the word TOYOTA in the front but the 2nd T is missing therefore instead of saying TOYOTA, it says TOYOA.

I got it, but I think that’s what was meant by being worthless without pictures. We’re a bit of a “visual” group of folks here.

Plenty of people probably have their letters from the $5 pro grill thread. I just tossed mine the other day.

also, don’t ever buy a car sight unseen.

My wife did exactly that a few months ago. She had 2 dealerships fighting with each other trying to get our money. Exactly the same TRD Pro except one was black, the other white. Out of town dealership ended up $1,500 less than the local dealership and delivered it to my door. All transactions were either over the phone or email. The easiest vehicle we've ever purchased.

Good luck getting this sorted out. If you do end up having to pay for it out of pocket, I wouldn't buy it through them, I'd get it online. Even if it costs more. And make sure they get that bad review if they're going to be tools about it. If they fix the problem, update the review accordingly.

Yeah the letters don’t fall off on the oem grille...it’s probably a knock off. Some guys on here been running over their letters on the Chinese grille.

Or you know, the community here can help you by spotting if it's a fake TRD pro grille or the real thing? Why else make this post?

Ok smart guy. Like many others on here or anyone else who buys cars online, how many would go to a dealership halfway across the country just to test drive a vehicle? Curious, How would online vehicle purchases work since you seem to know quite a bit about it?

Bitchin about a piece of plastic sir? I paid for the vehicle and it's entirety but it's missing a part. What would you do?

I would have traveled half way across the country before giving the dealership my money, of course.

Well it seems like you have extra money/time to spare. Driving to surrounding states, I would drive and inspect but driving to the Northeast US when you're in central US to inspect a pretty much brand new vehicle with less than 2k miles on it doesn't seem logical unless you have money/time to spare.

Holy smokes just be thankful the transmission isn’t slipping or something that actually matters. A tiny piece of plastic??? This is the state of entitled consumer culture.
