Can anyone with a Pro confirm/deny whether the letters are this 2-part construction?

Hmmm... OK. Is there evidence of front end damage? Maybe the previous owner traded in after an accident and used aftermarket to replace OEM grille then?

Was hoping that would help. Therefore should I provide you the VIN just to be sure? Lol

You can do it yourself on Toyota's website. Type in the VIN and it'll show what the truck was equipped with.

I guess the real question is does your truck have an external trans cooler :goingcrazy:

Riding off of this, check for orange peel on the hood and fenders.

Spitballing here: but if Pros do in fact have lettering constructed like that, wouldn't one separating/falling off be considered a warranty issue?

There's gotta be someone in this thread with a Pro that can confirm the letters are ostensibly two-pieces (silver/whatever color the lettering is on top of black/dark lettering). You know how oddly precise the impact would have to be in order to knock a single piece of anything off (e.g., the letter T) while doing absolutely no damage/harm to anything surrounding that one specific thing?

You’re right. I haven’t posted pics of my trd pro as no time to go out and shoot photos. I made this username weeks before I came across this pro. I honestly have more photos of other tacos on my phone than mine. For inspiration on how to mod mine. Yes I know you can’t buy skid plates, other parts off anywhere. Thought it might help distinguish. Guess not.

I’m on break AND I have my phone on me messaging/responding with 13+ responses with more to come. keep them coming. Don’t want to walk out to garage to get a photo shoot going. I will post photos soon when I have more time off.
    Thanks

This is just me, but I wouldn’t buy a vehicle sight unseen, no test drive, etc. for exactly this reason.
