Paint billet grill?

    I was looking at the Grillcrafts to but they were pretty pricey and I didn't want to cut out the stock grill.:(

    Oh cool! Do you know if they also paint over the rubberized coating or did they use that for the main color?:confused:

    I wouldn't paint it black. You are much better off getting it powdercoated. But the black billet is a very good look.

    Yeah that looks sweet!!! Well, BLACK it is for me!!!!:D Dang maybe I should have got the uncut grill. Mine has the cut-out for the emblem in front. Oh well, I guess we can compare!!

    On my old grill I used the rubberized undercoating then painted gloss black over it and then through on a clear coat. Looked really sharp.

    I painted mine first with the 3m rubberized undercoating and left it at that the first time but then as i went wheelin more and more it got dirty brown so i resprayed it with the undercoat then went and bought a can of flat black spraypaint and sprayed over it...... its been black since then.

    Ill make it a point to go out with you AZ guys more. haven't had much time lately.
