OK.. How about this guys! I was ganna see about having my Fender Flares Painted the same color as the truck, Bc there getting fated and I hate having to apply Back to Black every couple weeks. And I just think it would look better, IMO.

And If I did that, would you go black or keep them as Is? I think black...
Oh, and how much do you think it will cost me to have them paint them, and will the paint hold up, or will it just start to flake? thanks again guys! :)

great thread, legit questions. I have struggled with the exact same problems.. But having a black truck I feel so enticed to try the black rims. And whats the deal with the powder coating option? Anybody have any pictures of these?

the top one looks better...i would go with those or maybe try black beadlock rings on your current rims and see how that looks....i wouldn't paint your wheels..prolly just chip off over time...maybe powdercoating would work.....also i like the black fender flares..especially on a silver truck...i'm not a fan of the same color flares and bumpers and mirrors as the body...i like the contrast of the black and silver...makes it look more rugged

:D Thanks for all the Input guys! this has been on my mind for a long time.

I think Im ganna go with the ProComp 8069's though. When I need new tires.
And then keep these ones for maybe a winter set of tires...
    Good Idea?

i just dealt with the same issue. I have the same rims (everyone makes them). Mine are procomp 1069 but american eagle alloy makes the same one called a 185. I could not find another rim that was black that had the 4" bS and -11 offset of my (our) current rims. So i went with the black 185 from american eagly alloy and got the whole deal new for just under $400. Including lug nuts, center caps - i'll ditch them and buy some black ones one day though.
I priced powder coating, considered painting and went this route. I think it was a good choice. Will get them by weeks end and should have them mounted up next week. I'll post pics.
    good luck

Cool. Thanks for the Input! I have descided on the ProComp 8069's. I think they'll look good on some Hankook MT's. :)

    nice choice. It'll look sick.
I'm not crazy about these wheels but i know they will fit, give me the same stance and allignment will already be dialed in. For the $$ and ease of instal i figured it's a no-brainer. I can always switch them out later.
