    IMG_1122.jpg I've had my 2017 Tacoma for a month and noticed yesterday some paint has chipped off anyone else having problems like this

    Have you used a ptessure washer on the truck or driven through any car washes?

    Never used a pressure washer on it. Always wash it at home

    Likely causeed by a rock from the road. sometimes a rock with chip the paint and crack the surrounding, over time aiflow and light debris rip up the flakes. Pretty normal on any car. For a long time people recommended brushless car washes because the brushes will make chips worse, been like that since the 80s

    Came here to say this, got exact hit on my last new car shortly after I bought it - it was there for 160k miles without getting worse. One thing you can do if you don't want to use touch up paint, put a dab of clear nail polish on it to keep from peeling away.

    Sucks, but it is what it is, my Tacoma is 3 months old and got hammered by the cinder laid down on the highway this year for the ice. This is the bottom on rear doors, similar on both sides. It's not a truck problem.
