Too dark outside to take a picture of the issue, but after searching the internets for a while I cannot find an answer. I recently purchased a 2017 TRD/OR QS. Between the front and rear doors there is a satin looking black paint (vinyl?) just between the windows. Anyway I have a very small chip in that part of the vehicle and I am looking for the proper way to fill it. Is there an OEM paint to use or should i put a dab of plastidip on it? Im lost if anyone can help it would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

Yeh it's just a sticker and not paint so if you have holes and touch it up you'll be painting on your actual paint job. as long as your clear coat is good I'd say your good to go. I am unsure how much those pieces cost but I do not think it's much. After my accident the bodyshop applied it 1/4" below the adjacent one and they swapped it out no problem. The best thing I did was wreck my truck and got the rear diff resonance tsb now I really don't care about it too much and plan on running it in to the ground since it's resale is shot.

Peel it off. Or peel it off and put on some new vinyl. I'm actually surprised one of the vendors here hasn't come up with a new vinyl with print in it yet. Or a new color.
