    never been a fan of silver wheels so im leaning towards painting them black just wanted yalls oppinion, picked up the black uws toolbox off craigslist for $50 last night and pickin up some new tires(bfg a't) tonight.

    flat black or gloss black

    gloss or flat? ive painted a few sets with flat but never any with gloss. usually sand them, clean, 4 coats primer, 4 coats black, 2 coats clear sealer and they come out pretty well. these are already pretty rough tho wont need much sandin

    and also my current tires are 33 12.50s im going to the 32 11.50 bfg simply because i found a great deal for 5 brand new ones on craigslist. anyone think theyll look to small?

    never paint your rims, if your gonna go black just save up for a couple months and buy new rims. painting rims just makes your truck look cheap

    ya ive painted several sets of rims and you wouldnt be able to tell if there painted or came like that?! as long as you know what your doing whats gona make it look cheap?!

    its got a 2'' body and 2'' leveling kit, the 33s dont rub but like i said found a steal on these 32 11.50s..

    ya theres some life on them but there two diff kinds of tires the back two are dry rotted pretttty good and one is cupped on the outside and the front two are prob 75% tread but one is cupped and almost bald on the outside. i think someone had them lying around and threw them on there before they sold the truck to keep there tires.

    about to leave to go pickup the new tires, 5- 32 11.50 15 bfg a't with the titties still on them mounted on 15x8 wagon wheels all for $350 : ). will have pics of my wheels painted and new tires on by the end of the weekend.

    SO on the way home from getting my new tires tonight i had a blowout on the way home on the highway... LUCKILY the new tires i had just bought had rims already on them that were 6 on 5.5. now im rockin white wagon wheels(what was on the new tires i got) until i can go get the rims switched to the new tires tomorrow!
