My friend bought a new 2004 Silverado when I asked if he was going to oil/fluid film the underneath he said he did not need any rust proofing since, he lived on a dirt road the coating of mud would not let the salt in.... 2014(?) the floor boards, both rockers and frame were shot and it now sits in his barnyard.

His 1st mistake was buying a Silverado, and the 2nd mistake was obviously not rustproofing.

Sorry, I don't sell or represent Meguiar's products, have just taken good care of enough fine sportscars and daily drivers over the years to know what works best.

I highly recommend applying ceramic coating to your paint. Best thing ive ever done, took me about 4-5 hrs. This stuff lasts for couple years .

I used to wax about once a month and apply polishing compound twice a year on all my vehicles and they all looked great. All my vehicles were black except for one, it was automatic and silver , i hated it. haha!

    Good luck!

Different Meguiar's products over the years. When I got the Tacoma home I am now trying Meguiar's Ultimate liquid this does not show up in cracks/trim/black like the wax of old. Inside out of the sun wash/dry, remove tar & containments, wash/dry again then wax has been my routine every spring and fall. I was asked this summer when we got the new Forester, it is a 2010 with 95,000 miles. :)
