Paint match question

Trying to figure out how to find out paint code for matching? I’m trying to just touch up a few minor rock chips on the front of the hood and I guessed wrong buying a pearl white pen. Any help would be appreciated.

 

I believe the paint code is on the door stickers I had a spray bomb made up at a local shop dealers have the paint sticks

 

Check your doorjam. There’s a sticker with a manufacture date, weight ratings/specifications, barcode etc.

The paint code is below the barcode in the bottom left corner. For example mine is “3L5”

Lower left
C/TR (Code/Trim)
3 digit paint code (before the /)

 

Go to automotive touchup and look you year make and model you will find there great product also. Toyota doesn't have a large selection of Tacoma colors so you should be able to find it.

I come with 040 for an 06 Tacoma on the Automotive Touchup Website It a white

 

040 super white

 

That the one I found good paint used it on my O2 and painting he engine cover on my 10 TRD Sport. 20 a can for rattle can. Primer and Clear Coat is about 10, Used it to touch up wife Mini Cooper and painted the black wheel moulding body color.
