Paint OME Shocks?

    I was just wondering if anyone has painted their ome nitrochargers black? I really can't stand the look of the bright yellow popping out from underneath my bsp tacoma. If so can u post pics?? and also what steps u took to paint them. thanks

    i think i remember VHT making some type of suspension/chassis paint . Check them out, other wise i'd just sand them down good, clean em' then use a rustoleom or similar type rattle can.

    Yea I wanted to paint mine too. Before i even put them On. Not a big fan of the Yellow subscribed to see if any one has any tips

    on my previous taco, i painted the stock yellow billies black...nothing special to do it

    Yup-I painted mine- Don't really have any photos- but I just used some of paint I had left over from my rims. Wiped them down and scuffed them real quick and painted just one layer with some touch ups. Didn't want to put too much on because I didn't want to mess up the heat dissipation.

    Sweet thanks automoto! I'll try and get some of that VHT in the satin black. Scuffem and clean em and spray one good coat like brunes said! I'm gonna take the stickers off the shocks too! So hopefully that will make them blend a little better.

    I found that vht paint at advance auto parts, will be paintin these baby's as soon as the snow stops! I'll try and post some pics.
