I was thinking of painting the raised white lettering on my tires, thinking about Red to match my TRD logo. Any ideas? Was thinking of using this:

I turned my white letters to the inside and painted them black so they would be shining under there.

Depends how the truck looks I say...if its got alot on it already then it might look overboard. Tuner/ricer style if you know what I mean. But if not then I say Yay...Those new General Tires have red side walls so go with the times.

I was thinking about doing this to my 32" MT/R's, they are asymmetrical so they have to be mounted white wall outside to be mounted properly. I was thinking of doing yellow since they are Goodyear's, kinda like the yellow label race versions.

Some kinds of paint will not be good for the tire.

yellow like NASCAR, everything looks faster with black rims and yellow lettering.

Little known fact, Daytona is actually a 40mph race, they just look fast because of what I stated above.

You have got to be kidding, paint the letters on your tires?

I think the paint fumes are getting to you, give your head a shake.

What's wrong with painting them? People paint their stock wheels black to look cool, or black out their grills/satoshi, or tint the windows, or lifting your truck, putting on TRD stickers on non-TRD trucks, putting stickers on period? Give your own head a shake, people modify their trucks with useless stuff all the time and I'm willing to bet you're included.

Hmm coloured letters really look gay.

the red might look alright, but the thing I'd worry about is how the paint would hold up.
