Have a BSP Taco w/ chrome rear grille.
Gonna do the satoshi, bsp grille surround and BHLM to black out the front ( I know, real original) however I wanted to get rid of that ugly chrome bumper on the back.

Can I paint that damn thing, and is there a write up around here for it?
I did a search and came up with threads of people talking about it. Would like to do this weekend.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thx Guys.

I just got done painting mine. I cleaned it with with paint thinner, scratched it up real good with some 150 grit sand paper, cleaned it up again with thinner. Then painted first coat of adhesion promotor, 2 coats primer, then couple coats of indigo from paintscratch.com. I am waiting for other can right now I need one more coat of color but I ran out. Then clear coat and rubbing compound. I will post some pics after its all finished. It looks a hell of alot better than chrome, I'm ready to get it finished on back on the truck. Good luck

Sounds like a lot of work. How much did all the materials cost you?

It really wasn't much work, all that probably took 2-3 hours. Sanding and painting was easy. Finding all the bolts to get the bumper off kind of sucked. primer, clear coat, color from paint scratch $50, had left over from painting the grill had to order another can $25 to finish. paint thinner and sand paper maybe $10, rubbing compound like $8. Here's a pic just for an idea, like I said still needs another coat then clear coat.
