Painted chrome pieces on doors, tailgate?

    I am think hard about painting my tacoma letters on the door and tailgate black. If you have any pictures of it done on a silver taco please post!

    Also is it hard to do? what is the best way to do it?

    edit: here is one i took when i was in NY in august. about the best i have of the door with it clean and from a distance. [​IMG] i don’t have one of my tail gate.

    You've got two options to paint them - 1. take them off and spray them with black paint. 2. plasti-dip them on the truck

    i think the plasti did looks good and is really to easy. thats how i did mine.
