Being new to anything Tacoma, and since there area overwhelming amount online vendors, I have to ask y'all for a kick in the right direction.

I think my 2013 texas edition had the aftermarket chrome covers stuck on the handles and mirrors. I just bought it used and think I'd prefer to get rid of. Them

What's the best way to pull that stuff off and clean up the stock parts?

Secondly is there a best source where I can buy some silver factory matched paint handles and mirrors?

Are the mirrors, handles, and tailgate latch with camera easy to install?

    Thanks in advance.

No mud flaps, plasti dipped emblems, and rear bumper, Weather tech digital fit, Bed mat from tractor supply. Pioneer 4400BH head unit. B.A.M.F bed rail tie downs. AVS vent visors.
i don’t how to get the chrome stuff off.

also i don’t what skills you have or how good they are. but a few guys/gals have just got the color matched paint and painted the mirrors, door handles and grill or bumper them self. would take a weekend to do it all, between taking it all off and prep work, dry time for the paint and clear coat and by the time you put it all back on.

Yea I've read about a lot doing that and seems to work out pretty good.

But I've also seen where they've just spent a few bucks and bought actual matched Toyota parts. I'm going to try the dealer but I figure. They will be. The highest price of all.

Hoping to find an online source.

I just did the door handles and there is no need to paint these yourself. Well, I guess it might be cheaper, but the quality of the OEM handles is worth it. Painting that black textured plastic is not the best option.

I can't remember which parts place I got mine at. I used one of the ones that gives a diagram and just ordered away. I ordered the 2013 parts.

Only note worthy comment is that the 2014 base access cab has lock holes on both doors. So, you will be buying 4 parts total, but only 3 part numbers. The key hole piece on either door is identical.

Got my door handles from camelback toyota. Great vendor, great prices, packed them so no scratches when received. I bought my color matched grill there as well. All good.

    Thanks guys.

How easy was the install? I'm guessing you have to go through the interior panel at some point
